Bride’s nana accidentally posts her wedding dress pic on Facebook months before the big day, and her reaction is ‘evil’
A BRIDE’S grandmother accidentally posted a photo of her wedding dress on Facebook, months before she was set to walk down the aisle.
The bride-to-be’s reaction to the gaffe was “evil,” according to some people online.
An anonymous Reddit user posted about the incident on the Wedding Shaming forum.
The wedding story received a robust reaction from Redditors, garnering more than 3,400 upvotes and more than 1,000 comments.
The bride seemingly told the story on another forum and was uploaded by the original poster to Wedding Shaming.
In her version of events, the bride said that she brought her nana bridal dress shopping because she’s not close with her mother.
She found three dresses that she loved, and Nana took pictures of all of them.
Thinking she was sending the photo to the bride directly, Nana posted all the photos to Facebook.
She also made one of her profile pictures. After the bride saw what happened, Nana didn’t know how to remove the photos.
That’s when the bride became irate.
“You realize this has hurt me deeply correct?” the bride texted Nana, according to screenshots shared by the original poster via Reddit.
“I’m so sorry, I was trying to send you the pictures,” Nana answered. “I don’t know what I did, that it showed up there.”
“I’m not sure how to take it down,” she continued. “So so very sorry. I would not do anything that would hurt you on purpose.”
In the last line, Nana begged: “Please forgive me. I love you.”
But the bride was undeterred.
“I am on my way to your house right now to scream at you and possibly destroy your phone,” she texted to Nana, according to the screenshots.
Nana didn’t answer the bride when she arrived at her home.
“I’m done. You’re out of my f**king wedding,” the bride retaliated. “I don’t know what the f**k you’re doing right now.
The bride said the accident was an “absolute f**king betrayal.”
Then she kicked her grandmother out of the wedding.
“I hope it was worth it when you’re not attending my f**king wedding,” she texted.
Social media users were heartbroken at the treatment Nana received.
“I would honestly reconsider the marriage if I was the groom. Heartbreaking that Nana was treated like that,” reads one response.
“That’s heartbreaking. She’s elderly, doesn’t understand her phone, and the bride responds with so much hate. Just evil,” a second said.
“The bride is straight-up abusive. I mean you can even tell from the caption she thought she was sending a message,” a third shared.
