'Following an idiot': MAGA rioter scolded by Facebook friend for risking jail for Trump
An accused Capitol rioter got mocked by a social media "friend" for taking part in the Jan. 6 insurrection.
Frederic Fiol, of San Antonio, was identified through a Facebook messenger conversation with someone who turned out to be an FBI informant, but another acquaintance from the website ridiculed the videos he posted of himself at the U.S. Capitol with other Donald Trump supporters.
"Dude I can't believe you got involved in this bullsh*t," that Facebook user said in a voice message. "Now they're f*cking talking on TV to f*ckin' prosecute f*ckin' everyone that they can find or whatever. F*ckin' – you guys are following a f*ckin' idiot. Trump's a f*ckin' douche bag, psychopath, and a f*ckin' child molester. No more than that."

Fiol replied by saying the crowd was peaceful when he got there.
"They let people walk in and took selfies with cops," Fiol replied. "That sh*t happened hours before I got there.”
Fiol was charged with entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a restricted building, disorderly conduct in the Capitol and illegally demonstrating in the Capitol.
He has a plea hearing scheduled for Nov. 15.
