Normal life remains affected in the valley district of Manipur after the joint action committee (JAC) extended the 'bandh' by 24 hours to protest against the disappearance of two teenaged boys. The bandh, which started from 4am of November 10, was scheduled to conclude at 1pm on Friday. However, the JAC extended the bandh by 24 hours until 1pm on Saturday due to the government's alleged failure to trace the missing boys.
