You had to hit it at daybreak because there’s a strong wind warning for 20-30 kts of NE’ly today. The remnant NE windswell from yesterday was lighting up the usual spots. There were heaps of folks having a go at Northy when I checked at 0630ish. A bit lumpy and a bit fat, but definitely fun looking on the sets. Dee Why’s not the greatest NE spot, but as usual it was at least picking up a little something, albeit smaller and much less consistent than Northy. Tomorrow for the early could be similar today, and maybe even a little better – until it turns SE. Beyond that, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Monday’s looking southerly, Tuesday is so-so and Wednesday could see a long-period south pulse, but with showery weather and southerly wind from the get go.
