Noteworthy: Sereno scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak on the final play of the game to give Simi Valley a 32-29 victory over Huntington Beach in the CIF Southern Section Division 6 semifinals. His TD came at the end of a 14-play, 73-yard drive that he engineered in the game’s final two minutes. Sereno passed for 204 yards in last week’s game and has passed for 2,594 yards and 25 touchdowns this season. Simi Valley will play at Mira Costa in the finals Saturday night.
