Central Marin police arrest Greenbrae theft suspects
Officers arrested two suspects who allegedly stole merchandise from a Greenbrae pharmacy, the Central Marin police said Tuesday.
The incident happened at about 8 p.m. Monday in the CVS store at Bon Air Center. Officers stopped the suspects in traffic, and a CVS employee identified them as the alleged thieves, police Lt. Mike Legan said.
A 7-year-old child in the vehicle, a cousin of one of suspects, was released to relatives.
Police booked Anna Esters, 34, of San Francisco into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of child endangerment and organized retail theft. Esters was released Tuesday morning after posting bail, according to the sheriff’s office.
Her alleged accomplice, Aiema Davis, 29, of Fairfield, was booked on suspicion of organized retail theft, child endangerment, giving false identification to an officer, false impersonation and identity theft. Her bail was set at $25,000, and she remained in custody Tuesday.
Davis is also being held on two outstanding warrants alleging grand theft and shoplifting.
