The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, November 22, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm moving over the Northeast will bring mostly snow
across the northern tier of the Northeast today. However,
there can also be some ice and rain mixed in at times. This
can lead to slippery spots, mainly on bridges. Farther
south, rain will spread across southern New England while
retreating to the mid-Atlantic coast. A few thunderstorms
will rumble across southern Georgia and Florida. Meanwhile,
a storm will begin to move into the Northwest, bringing
showers and even some high-elevation snow to the region.
Elsewhere across the country, dry weather will prevail as
high pressure remains in place. The high pressure overhead
will also provide plenty of sunshine across the Southwest
and the South Central states, and temperatures will be near
to above the historical seasonal average.
