Senegal opposition party sponsors new candidate Faye after court blocks Sonko's bid

The party of jailed opposition leader Ousmane Sonko said Sunday it was sponsoring another candidate for the February presidential election, just days after Senegal's Supreme Court effectively blocked Sonko's own bid.
