Banerjee emphasized on the village-oriented growth led by women, Banerjee cited the example of growth of Self-Help Groups led by women in Bengal who stitch uniforms for the students of the government-run school. "Village is the growth centre with farming, warehousing, rice mill and many more things," Banerjee said. "Today is the day of the MSMEs. When branding is the way of the world, I would urge the small and MSME sectors also to go ahead with their own branding."
