Walmart’s Dyson hair straightener is discounted by $270, people say it’s ‘one of the best purchases I’ve ever made’
REVIEWERS have revealed they are in love with a Dyson hair straightener that’s being sold at a massive discount.
People are saving $270 by purchasing the product, and some people online said it was “the best buy.”
The refurbished Dyson Corrale straightener in fuchsia and nickel retails for $180 on Walmart’s website.
The original price was $450, meaning shoppers are saving $270 if they purchased the product from Walmart.
Why would anyone spend nearly $200 on a straightener?
Walmart wrote that the Dyson hair tool is able to style hair with “less heat.”
“This enables you or whoever you gift it to achieve the same style but with half the damage, reduced frizz, and fewer flyaways,” the bio adds.
Frizz is one of the most common hair problems among women.
When 2,000 women aged between 18 and 65 were asked, they said frizz was their biggest concern, according to a 2014 poll by Aveda, cited by the Telegraph.
Another benefit: The hair tool is balanced, giving users “maximum control when styling.”
The product has a 3.4 rating out of 5 stars.
“It is one of the best purchases, I’ve ever made,” read a review.
“Definitely worth the discounted price for refurb straightener. Heats quickly and does not fry hair,” another person wrote.
“Good product and a low price. Quality is the main thing,” a third shared.
Hair straightening is common among women.
Sixty-three percent of working women in the U.K. straighten their hair every day, according to Aveda’s poll.
Straight hair isn’t going anywhere.
Long locks parted down the middle, a popular trend from the ’70s, is in style again, according to Cosmopolitan.
