Colts owner whines that cops stopped him for DUI because he's 'rich white billionaire'
Colts owner Jim Irsay told HBO in an interview that he was arrested for driving under the influence because he's rich and white.
"I am prejudiced against because I'm a rich, white billionaire," he whined, averting his eyes from journalist Andrea Kremer. "If I'm just the average guy down the block, they're not pulling me in."
He was 55 at the time of the 2014 incident and hadn't spoken out about being stopped in Carmel, California, before the interview for "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" which aired on Tuesday.

Documents obtained by IndyStar at the time said two officers "continuously had to support Irsay in order to prevent him from falling over."
The video shows that both officers were also white.
Upon the arrest, the officers said that they "recovered numerous prescription medication bottles containing pills," with $29,029 in cash, the IndyStar recalled.
"Do you know what it's going to sound like if people hear you say they're prejudiced against a rich white guy?" Kremer asked.
"Was that the low point for you?" Kremer goes on to ask about the DUI arrest.
"No, not really, because the arrest was wrong," Irsay claimed. "I had just had hip surgery and had been in a car for 45 minutes and what? They ask me to walk the line. Are you kidding me? I can barely walk at all."
He also talks about his former girlfriend in the interview, who died of an overdose in his home.
Kremer said that she was shocked he's open to speaking to her now, when he's refused to do so in the past.
"So, I've contemplated why. Why now?" she told IndyStar. "For whatever reason, where he is in his life, he does not have anything to hide. He's very candid. He's very honest. I give him a lot of credit for being as forthright and cooperative as he was."
