Everything you need to know about Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain will twinkle with two million Christmas lights strung between 20 roller coasters this holiday season as Santa Claus returns to dance the night away to rockabilly music, ho-ho-ho at SoCal’s fake snow and toss back a few cocktails at the Tipsy Elf.

The ninth annual Holiday in the Park seasonal event returns to the Valencia amusement park on select dates from Thursday, Nov. 23 through Dec. 31.

The lineup of new entertainment includes a walk-through light show and live country music along with a variety of build-your-own holiday treat-making stations.

“Jingle Bell Way” in DC Universe features a dancing light show choreographed to holiday music where visitors walk through 30-foot-tall larger-than-life ornaments.

Peppermint Path Country Holiday near the Viper roller coaster invites visitors to stroll through a lighted candy cane lane with live country music from Drivin’ Mama Crazy.

Magic Mountain’s Holiday Village offers a build-your-own hot cocoa bar and s’mores kits along with Blitzen’s Bread Bowls, Mrs. Claus’ Homemade Sweets and Tipsy Elf cocktails in the DC Comics Metropolis area of the park.

The returning lineup for Holiday in the Park includes DJ dance parties, character photo ops and nightly snowfall plus visits with Saint Nick and his better half.

“Snowy Nights” takes over the Full Throttle Stage with DJ music and seasonal interactive games. Faux snow — or “snoap” — falls in Holiday Square near the entrance to the park.

HollyRock travels back to the 1950s with rockabilly music, classic cars and a lighted tunnel in the Underground area of the park.

Polar Bear Pass near the Golden Bear Theatre offers marshmallow-roasting fire pits and photo ops with Looney Tunes characters dressed in their holiday best.

A southern outpost of the North Pole takes over Whistlestop Park with photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, wish list letter-writing stations for the kids and trips aboard the North Pole Express train.

Holiday-inspired foods found throughout the park include cranberry ribs, Christmas tamales, peppermint bark, s’mores funnel cakes and French toast milkshakes.

The Holiday in the Park seasonal event at Six Flags Magic Mountain starts at 5 p.m. each night and runs on Nov. 23-26, Dec. 1-3, Dec. 8-11 and Dec. 15-31.
