Pillow Black Friday FAQs
What kind of pillow should I buy?
The three most popular pillow types are memory foam, microfiber, and down. Memory foam pillows come as a solid block or shredded. We prefer shredded because it tends to be softer and more pliable, though a solid block might be better for neck or back pain sufferers. Check out our guide to the best pillows for neck pain.
Down is a luxuriously comfortable, soft pillow material made from duck or goose's underbelly. Allergy sufferers may want to avoid this material as it could increase symptoms. Our favorite, the Brooklinen Down Pillow, is currently $18 off at Brooklinen. For more recommendations, visit our best down pillows guide. Microfiber is a common form of — and used interchangeably with — down alternative, mimicking down's feel while remaining hypoallergenic. Many of our favorite pillows feature microfiber fill.
Will Black Friday pillow deals be better than Cyber Monday?
To answer this, we analyzed the prices from last year and found that most deals were the same for both days. However, there were a few instances where the Black Friday price was better. This is likely because most sales only last "while supplies last." Therefore, if you see a good deal on Black Friday, snatch it up! You can usually return the item if you find a better deal on Cyber Monday.
