Accident involving tractor-trailer shuts down all lanes of I-95 North in Broward

An accident involving a tractor-trailer led to the shutdown of all lanes of Interstate 95 North near State Road 84/Exit 25 in Broward early Friday.

The accident happened about 6:30 a.m., backing up traffic on I-95 from State Road 84 to Stirling Road.

The tractor-trailer overturned and caught fire on I-95 just south of State Road 84. All traffic on I-95 North was diverted onto 595.

There are unconfirmed reports of a fatality.
