THE BBC has confirmed the return of huge drama – and fans don’t have long to wait.
Vigil is gearing up for a second outing on the broadcaster as the show dropped a first look.
DCI Amy Silva and DI Kirsten Longacre, who are played by Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie respectfully, are also back.
They lead a brand new investigation after multiple deaths are reported at a Scottish military base.
Viewers will see the duo enter the world of drone warfare to bring the killer to justice.
The Beeb has confirmed Vigil will officially return on Sunday, December 10th at 9pm on BBC One.
Die-hard fans can stream the first three episode as bosses have announced they’ll land on iPlayer from 6am on the launch day mornign.
The new series is packed full of drama with six, 60-minute episodes.
Vigil last aired on the BBC over two years ago now with an explosive finale episode.
