Josh Hart's Thanksgiving parlay crashed and burned and he's never been more relatable
Like many of us, Josh Hart awoke on Thanksgiving morning to a day off of work and nothing on his schedule but food on the table and sports on TV. Also like many of us, Josh Hart immediately took that opportunity to open up his sportsbook apps and start placing bets.
And like anyone who has ever placed a bet before, the Knicks star could only imagine a scenario in which he won every single one.
It, uh, did not work out that way. At all.
In fact, Hart encountered the most likely outcome: He lost everything in truly dispiriting fashion.

Ok, before you get concerned about Hart getting suspended for gambling, it’s a good time to remember the league allows its employees and players to bet on other sports — in states where its legal — as long as they are not wagering on any properties affiliated with the NBA (G League, WNBA, 2K League, you get it).
Hart is fine here, he’s just out a (relative) few bucks.
Besides, it’s so difficult to relate to most NBA players these days.
These are top tier competitors we are talking about. Guys who are quite literally built different and live lifestyles few of us could imagine. So it’s always a joy to witness when one of the Association’s stars endears himself to the general public a bit more.
No better way to do so than watching your holiday parlay crash and burn.
