Vipers Game Day – Vipers Kick Off Big Home Stand Against Smokies
Vernon, BC: The Vipers have played the most road games in the BCHL and come in fresh off their league leading 8th road win on Saturday night. They look to enjoy the fruits of home as they kick off 4 straight at Kal Tire Place against the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Last Game: The Vipers were victorious last Saturday, 4-0 over Salmon Arm. It was the first time any team had dealt the Silverbacks a loss on home ice. Erik Pastro had a goal and an assist, while Viper captain Connor Elliott pitched in with two assists. Ethan David was spectacular in goal with 41 saves, 17 of which were in the second period. It was his 10th career BCHL shutout.

Last Game: The Smoke Eaters split their two game homestand last weekend with a 5-3 loss to Nanaimo and a bounce back 7-3 win over Cowichan Valley. It was the second time this season that Trail had registered 7 goals. Seven different Smoke Eaters had goals. Mathieu Cobetto-Roy, Jason Stefanek and Chase Stefanak goal 1 goal and 1 assist. Ryan Parker had 27 saves on 30 shots.
