Fears for ‘exhausted’ I’m A Celeb campmate as they QUIT trial in dramatic scenes
I’M A Celebrity’s campmates are tonight left starving after one star abandons a trial halfway and cries out ‘Get Me Out Of Here!’.
It’s the second time so far this series that one of the campmates has bailed mid-trial.
Whilst The Sun has chosen to preserve the identity of the failing celebrity to not spoil tonight’s action, it can be revealed that the campmate has so far proven to be less than successful in the trial arena.
Their decision to call out the show’s iconic phrase means the other team won the challenge by default.
“It’s clear the celeb is exhausted – the trial sparked fears in camp that this particular contestant could be set to walk if faced with much more,” an insider tells The Sun.
The celebs are currently involved in a split-camp challenge called the Scarena.
The star’s failure propelled the other team towards success as they’re both battling it out to win a luxurious all-you-can-eat breakfast.
A preview of tonight’s instalment gives fans of I’m A Celebrity a sneak peek of the Touchdown of Terror trial.
With Ant and Dec overseeing proceedings as usual, the celebrities – who are now split into two separate camps – go head-to-head in the latest sports-themed twist.
Nella and Grace are seen attempting to release American footballs from a container that contains lots of creepy crawlies.
This is all whilst wearing a clear helmet that is full of jungle critters that writhe around their heads.
Once released they are tasked with throwing the balls to their teammates, who will run to get touchdowns and score points for their side in the American Football inspired challenge.
The Home Team came out on top in last night’s challenge, meaning those in Snake Rock were left on basic rations with no promised luxury breakfast.
Nigel appears determined to score points for the Snake Rock Away team and is seen to get the first touchdown.
Teammates Nick Pickard, Marvin Humes and Josie Gibson are seen cheering on from the sidelines as the pair try their best to get the upper hand.
Although Nella drops the first ball, Sam is seen to remain enthusiastically encouraging her to carry on.
