I’m 39 but everyone says I look exactly the same as I did 18 years ago, my secret to ‘fountain of youth’ is totally free
She won a famous competition reality show in 2005
A MODEL revealed her “fountain of youth” secret after people said that she hadn’t aged for nearly 20 years.
TikToker Naima Mora (@naimamora) posted two videos about her youthful appearance.
In the first one, she shared a picture of herself when she was on Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model in 2005.
Naima won first place and was given a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, as noted by Entertainment Weekly.
Since then, Naima hasn’t changed much. At least, her physical appearance doesn’t look like it has changed.
“So I did some digging and I found a picture from right after the show, from a photo shoot and here it is,” she said in a video.
“And this is a photo from my most recent photo shoot,” Naima added. “What do you guys think?”
“I think you drink the blood of humans to stay youthful for eternity, vampire. That’s what I think,” one person answered.
“I’ve aged more in the last 10 minutes than you have in almost 2 decades. You are gorgeous,” a second said.
“You got more beautiful,” a third added.
In a follow-up video, Naima shared her anti-aging tip.
“So you guys keep commenting on how effortlessly young and still very beautiful I look,” she said.
Her “fountain of youth” is called love.
“I love my life … I believe that we are all responsible for our own actions and the way we respond to life,” the model explained.
“We can curate our life experiences,” she continued. “And in that aspect, we can never be let down.”
Naima encouraged her followers to honor themselves.
“Just learn to love life. Celebrate yourself,” she said. “Celebrate every moment that you get. Embrace the sun.”
There is some science to back up Naima’s advice.
Smiling can make you appear younger, according to the National Library of Medicine.
“Emotional expression may be a significant determinant of perceived age,” they wrote. “This is thought to be due, in part, to age stereotypes that tend to look unfavorably on older age.”
