NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm continuing to push onshore in the Northwest today
will bring heavy rain and lesser showers from Oregon and
Washington through northern Idaho and northwestern Montana.
At the same time, a storm from Canada traveling from
Wisconsin to western Pennsylvania will bring a large area of
rain showers from central Indiana through southern West
Virginia. Snow will mix in from northern Indiana through
western Pennsylvania with all snow on the northern edge. A
few snow showers may also occur offshore of Lake Ontario in
upstate New York. Meanwhile, the Southeast will stay dry and
pleasant for many as high pressure begins to build across
the region. The South Central and Southwest states will also
remain dry, with warm conditions in place over Southern
California and southern Arizona.
