Mum gets shamed as she reveals her boujee daughter’s Christmas list that adds up to the grand total of £5k
WHEN we were kids, there was nothing more exciting than opening up a top from Tammy Girl or a new Barbie on Christmas day.
But Keya James’ 10-year-old daughter has written a rather different kind of Christmas wish list…because it’s full of designer clothes and high-end technology, and comes to the grand total of a whopping £5k.
In a video posted to TikTok (@keyajames), the mum can be seen reading out the youngster’s handwritten list, starting with a rather expensive iPhone 15, which costs a whopping £799.
“Yeah, she’s not getting that,” Keya says.
Continuing to reel off the rest of her daughter’s pricey requests, Keya explains how some of the other gifts include Tazz Ugg slides, which retail at £105, a Kendra Scott necklace, which is priced at £41, and £126 Jordan’s/Nike Dunks.
Not stopping there, the 10-year-old also asks for a Lululemon gift card and even specifies the amount – £118.
“This girl has so much Lululemon, they don’t even sell kids clothes,
but whatever,” Keya quips.
But that’s not all – sticking with the money theme, the 10-year-old also wants a Sephora gift card, Starbucks gift card, and “a lot of money” on top of that.
Then there’s the Polaroid, which costs around £63, slippers with a smiley face on, which are around £20, and £640 kids’ Dior Converse.
“Yeah, she already has two pairs of Golden Goose,” Keya says, speaking of the expensive trainers which can cost anything around £245.
To finish off her list, the youngster asks for a kid’s Aviator Nation tracksuit, which will set you back £182, permanent bracelet, which costs £120 on average and a £38 flamingo Jellycat.
This brings the total price of the Christmas gift list to a staggering £2,252, without the all of the gift cards and “a lot of money” she also asked for, meaning it’ll likely add up to around £5,000.
But according to Keya, her daughter is still planning on adding more later.
She captioned the post: “Reading my 10-year-old daughter’s Christmas list because she thinks I’m rich.”
The post has since gone viral, garnering an impressive 9.5 million views and hundreds of comments – with very mixed opinions.
“This ain’t nobody fault but our own mama,” wrote one.
A second penned: “You reap what you sew because wym (what do you mean) she has 2 pairs of golden gooses.”
A third commented: “I mean if she has 2 pairs of Golden Goose – clearly you’ve set a standard.”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “She already has a ton of Lululemon and golden goose shoes. Yeah you getting her everything on that list.”
Another added: “As soon as you said she already has golden goose this list made sense. She already got expensive things.”
A further chimed in: “The only thing that makes sense and that list is the flamingo jelly cat.”
And one more noted: “What the hell happened to kids wanting toys?”
