I realised less is more when I accidentally did a goth to glam make-under – people say my natural beauty ‘slays’
RECENTLY, we have seen more and more women ditch their heavy make-up for a more natural look.
And one woman has revealed that she accidentally did a goth to glam make-under, leaving many open-mouthed.
Venus Tenshii explained that she used to be a “goth girl”, but now, thanks to a shift in her make-up routine, she is a “clean girl.”
Showing off her glow up on social media, Venus shared a picture of her in her goth stage.
Not only did she rock a choppy black bob hairstyle, but she also donned black lipstick, thick black eyeliner and a septum piercing.
Alongside her selfie, Venus wrote: “Me randomly realising I’m done with heavy make-up.”
Seconds later, the brunette beauty shared a selfie, showing off a much more natural look, as she added: “Less is more.”
Venus had dramatically changed her appearance, with the black lipstick nowhere to be seen.
Instead of the unique eyeliner, Venus went for a simple flick, and opted for a much neater, styled hairstyle.
As well as this, the beauty fan drew on freckles, adding to her new ‘natural’ look.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @venustenshii, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 59,900 views.
Social media users were stunned at the woman’s make-under and were eager to express this in the comments.
Many complimented her natural beauty and said that her new look ‘slays’.
One person said: “SO so pretty.”
Another added: “You don’t need makeup, your natural beauty is always gonna win.”
A third commented: “SLAAAY.”
However, not everyone was totally convinced on Venus’ ‘less is more’ approach.
One user claimed: “Makeup almost just as heavy.”
Whilst a second chimed in: “You literally have the same amount of makeup on your face.”
At the same time, someone else penned: “Why some of y’all are mad if you scroll [through] her TikTok or IG 2-3 years ago she [did] makeup like a goth and her makeup rn there’s a huge difference.”
