The Allahabad High Court adjourned the hearing on a petition filed by the Gyanvapi mosque management committee challenging the maintainability of a suit seeking restoration of a temple at the mosque site. The court postponed the matter to December 7. The case was transferred from Justice Prakash Padia to the then Chief Justice Pritinkar Diwakar on August 28 for judicial propriety.
