‘Moody’ Strictly star Nigel Harman sparks feud rumours as he snubs co-star after shock show exit
STRICTLY star Nigel Harman has sparked feud rumours after his shock exit from the competition last weekend.
The former EastEnders star, who had to leave the BBC competition last weekend on medical grounds, has snubbed a number of his co-stars on social media.
Nigel doesn’t appear to have hit the follow button on Instagram for his dance partner Katya Jones – however she does follow him.
The actor hasn’t followed anyone else from the BBC show on the social media platform.
Although Nigel has loads of followers, he only follows 13 accounts, including Strictly‘s main account.
Earlier this week The Sun revealed that the Strictly crew were ‘relieved’ that Nigel had left the competition after his ‘backstage mood swings’.
The star quit hours before Saturday’s quarter-final after injuring his ribs in rehearsals.
Despite being a fan favourite, he was often left frustrated when he received low scores.
A Strictly insider said: “Nigel takes himself very seriously as a performer and throws himself heart and soul into things.
“So obviously he’s very emotional if things don’t go as he hoped. That often means that he can be like a bear with a sore head backstage.
“Viewers got a glimpse of that when he received disappointing scores for their quickstep in Blackpool.
“The crew and pros on the show are like a close family and the celebrities are welcomed into that. But if someone upsets that long-standing dynamic it can create bad feeling.
“Despite this, it is always sad when a contestant leaves the show, particularly when an injury is sustained. They wish Nigel the very best and look forward to seeing him at the final on Saturday December 16.”
During Blackpool week Nigel and Katya placed second from the bottom with 31 points.
Viewers said he looked angry, with footage later emerging of him immediately leaving the stage as soon as filming ended.
It was also recently revealed that he had a furious row with his wife Lucy Liemann in front of shocked fans in Blackpool.
