I’m a single mum & spend £1,500 on my baby for Christmas – she has a fur coat for every day of the week, she deserves it
A SINGLE mum has told how other parents say her daughter is spoiled because she spends thousands on her Christmas presents.
Jessica Rampant, whose baby girl is one, makes sure her tot is decked out in the latest designer clothing and treated to a life of luxury.
But the model, 35, admits some people hate the fact she splashes out so much cash on someone so young.
The Glaswegian, who also showers herself with gifts at Christmas, reckons people should lighten up.
She says: “I save all year for my baby to have her Versace and Moschino and toys.
“By December, I splurge majorly on myself.
“After another year of being a single mum, I buy anything and everything that takes my fancy.
“I probably spend £1,500 on her and £1,200 on myself getting refreshed for the New Year.
“Everyone says I need to stop it as she has a fur coat for every day of the week and I get accused of ‘overcompensating’ and creating ‘bad habits’ for the future.
“The simple fact is that as soon as the baby is sorted in every way, then I can splurge on myself with clothes, hair, aesthetics, nails, and lashes.”
Jessica adds: “You can’t be a good mother unless you look after yourself.
“You can’t draw anything from an empty bucket.
“My brother died last month so it put it into focus that my priorities are my baby and me.
“If you don’t feed or finance me then you have no right to an opinion.”
