I reversed my hair loss with three simple tweaks, the first is free, just set a three-minute timer and get to work
REALIZING how much hair she was losing on a regular basis, a brunette tried a few hacks in the hopes of growing it back.
She swears by three things.
After transforming her mane back to its thick, luscious state, TikToker Ally Blue (@growfinity) began sharing tips to help women reverse hair loss.
In one video, she revealed the three things that helped her regrow her hair.
The before images she included demonstrated that her temples were balding and her brush was often filled with fallen hair.
In the after images, her hair was restored to its full thickness and long length.
The first practice she incorporated is one anyone can do at home, as it’s free and doesn’t require much time.
“Every day, I do a scalp massage for three minutes,” she said, setting her timer before using her hands to knead the skin under her hair.
“This brings blood flow to the hair.”
According to healthline.com, her trick is backed by science.
The experts at Healthline cited research that suggests “scalp massages increase hair thickness by stretching the cells of hair follicles. This, in turn, stimulates the follicles to produce thicker hair.”
Next, you’ll want to invest in a laser therapy cap – and hers costs $400.
“I use laser therapy every other day. This is the RedRestore laser system and it rejuvenates weak follicles at the cellular level.”
The cap has received over 200 reviews that gave it an average of 4.5 stars.
“Treatments are very easy and completely painless. I found the concept to be pretty ‘out there’ at first, but since seeing the results for myself and reading up on the technology, it’s the real deal. Go for it,” one person praised.
“I am SO SO SO happy with the results. It has regrown my thinning part to the point that it’s almost completely unnoticeable…works like a charm,” echoed another.
Ally’s final tip is to spray a little rosemary water on your roots every morning and let it air dry to promote growth.
Ulta sells one for only $10.
As for what you shouldn’t do, she suggested ditching heating products like blow-dryers and irons, and instead advocated for sleeping in “protective braids” at night.
