Echo & the Bunnymen reschedule at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage
Fans hoping to catch Echo & the Bunnymen at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage will have to wait until June 14.
The English rock band was scheduled to perform at the Rancho Mirage casino on Nov. 17 but cancelled due to medical conditions, according to a message posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Nov. 19.
“We sincerely regretted the cancellation of our performance at Agua Caliente Casino on the 17th. This difficult decision had been made on the advice of medical professionals due to an illness within the band. We understand the disappointment this caused and assure you that we are actively working on the logistics for a rescheduled show. An official announcement, including details about ticket refunds, will be provided in the near future. We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this challenging time. Cancelling a show is the last thing Echo & The Bunnymen ever want to do,” the band wrote.
Tickets for the original Friday, November 17 date, will be honored for the new Friday, June 14 performance. Fans unable to attend on June 14 can receive a refund from their ticket point of purchase. Refund requests must be received no later than May 14, 2024.
Last year, the band celebrated its 40th anniversary with a North American tour that highlighted its 20 Top 20 hits, including “The Killing Moon,” “Lips Like Sugar” and “Bring On The Dancing Horse.” Last month, the band performed at the inaugural Darker Waves festival in Huntington Beach alongside Tears for Fears, New Order and OMD.
