Shon Abaev, G/SF, Calvary Christian Academy junior: Started as a freshman and averaged 12.0 points per game, 4.2 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and o.4 blocks per game; scored 19 points against National champion Link Academy added a 21-point effort against top-10 nationally ranked Long Island; said being invited to Curry Camp and NBA Top 100 Camp is a career highlight.
Enrico Borio, G/F/Wing, North Broward Prep senior: Member of Brazilian National team; said he was most proud of winning district title for the Eagles; played 29 games and averaged 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, one block and one assist; committed to Jacksonville University.
Alexander Constanza, G, Westminster Academy sophomore: Two-year varsity member started as an eighth grader; averaged 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 8 blocks; most proud of making a game-winning a top-25 school North Mecklenburg in North Carolina in Arby’s Classic sending the Lions to the championship; said career highlight is playing for coach Ehren Wallhoff.
Joshua Harris, F, Pembroke Pines Charter senior: Three-year varsity member averaged 17.9 points per game, 11 rebounds per game; said he was most proud of receiving his first scholarship offer last year; career highlight was winning regional semifinal against St. Thomas Aquinas; used to play lacrosse; committed to the University of North Florida.
Alexander Lloyd, CG, Westminster Academy junior: Two-year varsity member was Class 5A-1A Sun Sentinel co-Player of the Year last year with Sagemont’s Tynan Becker; scored his 1,000th career point on Feb. 1, 2023; averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game; said beating ranked teams in the Arby’s Classic last year was a season highlight.
