Donny van de Beek on verge of Man Utd exit as he undergoes Eintracht Frankfurt medical ahead of loan transfer
DONNY VAN DE BEEK could finally be leaving Manchester United as he is undergoing a medical at Eintracht Frankfurt, according to reports.
The Dutch midfielder, 26, has scored just two goals and provided two assists in 62 games since arriving from Ajax more than three years ago.
He has played just 21 minutes for Erik ten Hag this season and not started a single game.
Now he could be departing Old Trafford as Frankfurt look to secure his signature.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Van de Beek is in Franfurt completing his medical tests ahead of a loan move.
The structure of the deal is understood to be a straight loan with no obligation to buy.
If Frankfurt do wish to make the transfer a permanent one, the fee would be £9.5million plus £3.5m in add-ons.
Man Utd paid Ajax £34m for the Netherlands international back in 2020.
He has played just 62 games for the club and failed to establish himself as a first-team regular under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ralf Rangnick and Ten Hag.
In three years, he has started just six Premier League games.

Van de Beek also endured a difficult loan spell at Everton in 2022, scoring one goal in seven appearances.
Dutch head coach Ronald Koeman recently left him out of the Netherlands squad.
And Van de Beek hinted at leaving Man Utd last month.
He told The Mirror: “I am bouncing to play matches again.
“The manager is making different choices now. We have a big squad and I am not the only one knocking on the door. We’ll see in January what happens.
“I need to start playing games very soon – if not at Man United then at another club. I think I have to be ambitious.
“I have always been a lover of the game. I am absolutely crazy about football.
“I earn a good living at United, but money is not my motivation. I want to enjoy my work every day.”
