The Boys and Girls Clubs of Carroll County held its annual BGC Christmas celebration Monday in Westminster. Club members created wish lists in November, each asking for something they want, something they need, something to eat, and something to read. The event started four years ago with gifts fulfilled by Knorr Brake Company, and it has grown to become a community effort this year, with 10 companies and organizations sponsoring gifts for 204 club members from nine elementary, middle and high schools. The following companies and organizations sponsored the 2023 celebration: Knorr Brake Company, Performance Food Group Services, First Financial Federal Credit Union, Carroll Hospital – LifeBridge Health, Manchester Valley High School Class of 2025, Majestx Field Hockey, Reggio School, The Young School, and Ross Albers & Associates. There were also 39 individual sponsors.
