Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) In IPL Auction 2024: Cummins, Head, Hasaranga Headline SRH’s Shopping Fest

Dubai: SRH was one of the strongest sides entering the auction as they only had 6 slots to fill and had a purse of 34 crores. They roped in Pat Cummins for 20.50 crores. Cummins is also likely to be their new skipper for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. They also strengthened their batting by adding Travis Head to the side and roped in a quality spin all-rounder in the form of Wanindu Hasaranga. Sunrisers Hyderabad have roped in ODI World Cup 2023 final star Travis Head for a decent amount of 6.80 crores and Wanindu Hasaranga on his base price of 1.50 crores. SRH filled their overseas player slot after buying Pat Cummins for the record amount of 20.50 crores and made him the most expensive player in the history of the tournament. They later brought in Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat for 1.60 crores. They later in the auction bought Akash Singh for his base price of 20 L. SRH completed their player slot by adding Jhathavedh Subramanyan to his base price of Rs 20 lakh.
