FA slaps £120K fine on Man City for badly behaved players
December 19 – Manchester City have been fined £120,000 after several players surrounded referee Simon Hooper during their dramatic 3-3 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League earlier this month.
The City players protested referee Hooper late in the game after he stopped play when Jack Grealish was through on goal for a foul on Erling Haaland in the build-up, having previously waved play-on.
Haaland was particularly angry with Hooper’s decision to not play advantage and continued his complaints after the final whistle,
