I earn £100K doing a ‘dirty job’, arrogant men ask how I survive without their help but I’m more qualified than them
A TRUCKER girl has opened up about the reaction she gets from people when she reveals her unlikely career path.
And she’s not often met with positivity, as she revealed that many call it a “dirty job”, while arrogant men continually ask her how she survives without their help.
However, Daysen Havoc couldn’t care less what others make of her profession, as not only can she make over £100k, but she also has the qualifications to be in demand.
Daysen has been a truck driver for over four years and shares snippets of her life on the road on her TikTok profile @tinytrucker22.
Along the way, the social media user has shared how she’s often trolled and criticised for what she does.
In one video, she revealed that she often hears phrases like “truck driving is a dirty job.”
Meanwhile, others have questioned why she does it altogether, as they ask things, such as “what would you ever pick a job like that?”
Other insults that have been thrown at her range from “aren’t you scared of all the men?” to “how did you even reach the pedals for your drivers’ test?”
But that’s far from the only misogynistic comments that Daysen, who lives and works in the US, has had to listen to.
In another video, she shared how she’s been asked more than once “how do you survive on the road without a man?”
But now Daysen has silenced her critics by revealing the credentials she has to her name – plus her eye-watering salary.
When one person suggested she changed jobs, she replied: “I make over six figures where I’m at – it’s enough to pay the bills.”
Meanwhile, she’s also lifted the lid on her extensive experience, as she said that her ultimate dream and “top goal” is to “drive a cattle pot.”
When looking for more truck work, Daysen explained that she has over four years’ experience, including working on a family ranch with cattle sorting experience.
She added that in that time she has had no accidents whatsoever and can provide “solid references.”
She’s also got qualifications, including BQAT certified, which means she’s able to transport cattle.
Moreover, Daysen said that one of her greatest attributes is that she has “respect for equipment and common sense.”
And it was enough to silence her critics, as her 82.4k followers, who said she’d more than proved her worth.
One person wrote: “I would hire you in a second!”
A second social media user added: “Best of luck to you! I love to see a hard working woman.”
