Sonia Gandhi, president of the Indian National Congress (INC), while addressing the Congress Parliamentary Party criticised the BJP government after 141 Members of Parliament (MPs) were suspended this week. "Democracy strangulated by this government," said Sonia Gandhi on the suspension of MPs. The members after they protested in the Parliament demanding a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah in the House on recent security breach.
