Strictly Come Dancing in new ‘feud’ as THREE finalists all snub the same contestant after backstage controversy
STRICTLY Come Dancing stars are believed to be embroiled in a ‘feud’ rumours as new rumours come to light.
Three of the show’s finalists have all snubbed Nigel Harman following his backstage controversy.
It’s after Layton Williams, Bobby Brazier and Vito Coppola all failed to follow Nigel on Instagram.
The co-stars spent every weekend together for almost three months – but apparently don’t wish to follow what Nigel’s up to on social media now the show has ended.
Nigel was forced to quit hours before the quarter-final after being “dropped” in rehearsals.
The Sun later revealed crew members were relieved he had left the competition after experiencing his backstage mood swings.
He had often been left frustrated after receiving disappointing scores from the judges.
Nigel was also accused of having a “furious row” with his wife Lucy Liemann in front of shocked fans in Blackpool after getting low marks.
Now it appears he didn’t form a close bond with three of his fellow celeb dancers either.
A Strictly insider said previously of the ex-EastEnders actor: “Nigel takes himself very seriously as a performer and throws himself heart and soul into things.
“So obviously he’s very emotional if things don’t go as he hoped. That often means that he can be like a bear with a sore head backstage.
“Viewers got a glimpse of that when he received disappointing scores for their quickstep in Blackpool.
“The crew and pros on the show are like a close family and the celebrities are welcomed into that. But if someone upsets that long-standing dynamic it can create bad feeling.
“Despite this, it is always sad when a contestant leaves the show, particularly when an injury is sustained. They wish Nigel the very best and look forward to seeing him at the final on Saturday December 16.”
Professional dancer Vito won Strictly with his partner Ellie Leach on Saturday night.
