Tata Motors announced that its SUVs Safari and Harrier have received the first five-star rating for adult and child occupant protection according to the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat-NCAP). Bharat-NCAP, launched in August 2023, is India's independent safety performance evaluation protocol for automobiles, benchmarked to global standards.
