A woman's first husband, Bishnu Charan Prusty, and her current husband, Subrat Sethy, plotted a fake kidnap of their one-year-old son due to marital problems. Bishnu, who works in a sawmill, enlisted the help of his colleagues Saroj Kumar Mohanty and Braja Kishore Nath to execute the plan. The police, investigating a recent abduction case, discovered the fake kidnap and rescued the baby from the custody of Saroj's relative in Cuttack. The four men involved have been arrested.
