Calvin Harris teams up with major British singer and Emily In Paris star for new single
IT has been four weeks since they narrowly missed out on the No1 one with their hit tune Giant.
And now Calvin Harris and Rag’n’Bone Man have teamed up again for a brand new tune.
We can exclusively reveal the pair have secretly joined forces for a single and have enlisted Emily In Paris star Lucien Laviscount for the music video.
Our exclusive photographs showed Rag’n’bone Man — real name Rory Graham — and Lucien filming together in London for the track, which is expected to drop in the New Year.
A source said: “Calvin and Rory are back working together and the song is a sure-fire hit.
“Everything about the song is a closely guarded secret but they filmed the music video in east London last week.
“The shoot took place under the cover of darkness to help keep it a secret. They have brought Lucien on board for the video and he was transformed into a werewolf for it.
“Lucien totally threw himself into the role and looked absolutely amazing.
“He was running around Hackney baying at the moon. It was such a great idea to get him involved and the results of the video are brilliant.”
Three times Brit Award winner Rag‘n’bone Man will make his live music comeback in Scotland next summer – and we bet this new tune will be at the top of his set.
Calvin meanwhile has a major Las Vegas gig booked in for January before he is set to play Trnsmt festival in July.
Back in August we revealed how he had teamed up with Sam Smith for new tune Desire.
At the time we showed exclusive pictures of the pair working hard together on the music video for the single, which peaked in the charts at No6.
We have no doubt he’ll be aiming for the top spot when he finally drops his new tune.
Carey on smiling
MARIAH CAREY is keen to show everything is all white as she steps out in Aspen.
The Queen of Christmas was all smiles as she was seen out and about amid rumours her romance with toyboy Bryan Tanaka has come to an end.
Mariah appeared to channel East 17’s famous festive track Stay Another Day by sporting a white puffer jacket complete with faux fur hood.
She completed her look with a white tutu skirt and matching oversized shades.
Reports claim Bryan had been due to go to Aspen with the superstar before their romance hit the rocks.
The pair had been together for seven years.
Comic Carr rocked by ‘fatty’ taunt during gym workout
ALAN CARR has revealed he was shamed over his weight by a personal trainer while trying to work out.
The comedian said he felt “triggered” after being called “fatty” as he exercised in a central London gym.
And he admitted the incident reminded him of being “back in the playground”, where kids’ taunts can be cruel.
He said of the gym incident, involving a female PT: “I went to quite a famous one and I didn’t like the way she talked to me.
“I think someone had a word with her because she was like, ‘Come on fatty!’
“But then next time I went in, she was like, ‘Oh, you know Alan, have a breather if you want’.
“It was triggering. It was like I was back in the playground.”
Alan recalled the jibe on his Life’s A Beach podcast, adding: “People don’t believe I have a personal trainer because I’m fat.”
THERE is No Doubt that Gwen Stefani is enjoying party season.
The Hollaback Girl singer shows off her festive style in a quirky multicoloured tasseled dress.
Gwen is gearing up for a bumper 2024 – which she promises will include new music.
She recently teased: “I’m actually putting out music, so I’m excited about that. I’ve been working on this for a long time.”
While she release her Just A Girl EP in 2021, it’s been six long years for Gwen’s fans since her last album – and even that was a Christmas offering.
Hopefully it will be worth the wait.
SHE’s one of the biggest names in music.
But unlike Beyonce and Madonna, Kylie Minogue is yet to perform in stadiums – instead selling out arenas around the world.
But the Padam Padam singer, who is currently in the middle of her debut Las Vegas residency, says she is now considering a special show or two at Wembley Stadium.
Kylie said: “I don’t know if I am a stadium artist but maybe now is the time to put it on the table.
“I would love to do that one amazing show and bring it all together. When I did Capital’s SummerTime Ball I was just there for a couple of songs but I have to admit it did feel good to be in a stadium. “
Despite still remaining coy about her plans for 2024, Kylie is tipped to embark on a UK tour in support of her No1 album Tension next year.
It will be her first tour in five years after the pandemic stopped her from touring 15th album Disco.
ROBBIE WILLIAMS has admitted he thinks his voice is only getting better with age.
The Angels singer confessed: “I’m just beginning to become fully formed as an entertainer. It’s all been bluff and b*****ks all my life.
“Whatever I was getting away with appealed to a great number of people because they bought tickets, came back and saw it again.
“This year is the first year as a 49-year-old I respect myself now.
“Before I just thought I was taking the p**s and being lucky, now I actually think there’s something about me that’s worth coming to see.”
IT’S been more than two decades since Gareth Gates became a household name by auditioning for Simon Cowell on Pop Idol.
But despite the mogul being one of the busiest men in music, the X Factor chief has still made sure to follow Gareth’ career and quietly support him behind the scenes.
Gareth told me: “Simon and I text each other every now and then. He helped me so much in the early days of Pop Idol. He helped me relax because I got so wound up.
“I wasn’t scared of singing in front of millions of viewers, I was more scared of chatting to Ant and Dec after the performance. The singing part was the easy part. Simon helped me through that.”
The actor and singer added: “He is a great guy is Simon.
“I was surprised to hear he was having therapy because you just presume he has it all together.
“But that’s one thing I learned on this show is we all have our own inner battles. And this is a great way to address them. “
