Terrified Amy Childs rushes baby son to hospital on Christmas Day just days after last visit
AMY Childs has revealed she spent Christmas Day in hospital with her son Billy – just days after seeking urgent medical care for him.
The Towie star dashed to A&E once again with the five month old as his condition worsened.
Terrified Amy felt she had no choice but to rush him in as he was left struggling to take milk – leaving the family extremely worried.
Explaining her absence online over the festive period, Amy told her followers: “Wow what a Christmas we had this year – to say it was stressful and tough would be an understatement.
“We ended up in A&E with baby Billy Christmas Day.. he couldn’t stop coughing, high temperature, wasn’t taking his milk, we was all so worried and just wanted him better.”
She continued: “So many messages why I haven’t been on my Instagram, and thank you for all your messages! It’s been a stressful Christmas this year BUT Roll on 2024.”
The reality TV favourite, 33, gave birth to Billy and twin sister Amelia in April.
Amy’s followers rushed to offer her support, with one person writing: “Oh no poor little Billy, he really can’t get rid of it can he. Lots of well wishes for Billy and hope you all get some rest xx”
And someone else added: “Wishing little Billy a speedy recovery. Not nice when they are little and unwell. Mumma hugs to you Amy xx”
Just before Christmas, Billy was in hospital and it turned out to be a nasty case of tonsillitis.
She said at the time: “As a mum I was so worried as when he was a few minutes old when he was born he got taken away and put in the NICU unit for days as he was struggling to breathe.”
Amy is also mum to Polly, six, and Ritchie, four, from previous relationships.
