I braved the Next kids sale & got such a massive haul I only told my husband about half of it – the quality is insane
A MUM has revealed that she braved the rain to head to the Next Boxing Day sale and it was totally worth it.
Rachel Clenaghan, from Scotland, was left seriously impressed by the quality of the kids clothes and went all out in the sale.
The mum-of-two revealed she just had to get out of the house to get away from the mess leftover from Christmas – so decided to hit up the shops.
She said: “I came to have a look at the Matalan sale but it was absolutely c**p, so I did brave the weather and walk over to Next, but I’m so happy I did cause I managed to get loads.”
Rachel revealed that she was going to show off her haul of goodies in the car as she didn’t plan to tell her hubby about how much she bought.
“I’m gonna tell Paul I only bought half of what I actually bought and spent half what I actually,” she added.
The first items she bagged was some summer essentials as the family are heading to Dubai on holiday in February.
She picked her son up a pack of three shorts in navy, denim and beige for just £9.
Rachel managed to pick up some adorable white sandals for her daughter, Romi, for just £6.50.
The mum was thrilled to pick up her favourite set for her son, Junior, which featured a white top and blue dungarees which she bagged for half price for just £10 instead of £20.
She revealed he had worn it for his one month photo, one year and now could wear it for his second birthday too.
Sleepsuits were also up for grabs and she picked up two for her daughter with one that read ‘little sister’ and another that read ‘I love my mummy.’ which were just £4.50 each.
Rachel also bagged both of her kids next year’s Christmas day outfits and bought a festive teddy bear dress for Romi and a matching jumper for Junior.
In total Rachel spent just £50 on all the new goodies.
“Can’t believe I managed to get those sleepsuits!! Run to Next guys,” she captioned the post.
The clip posted to her TikTok account @rachelclenaghan was a hit with parents with many taking to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “Next has me in a choke-hold for both my boys!! Cannot beat it They have loads of nice things online for next as well.”
“Yep! The quality is insane,” replied Rachel.
Another commented: “Here’s me running to Next to find the blue dungarees set in age 2-3 for my 18mth old! It was my favourite baby outfit.”
“Smashed it. Mine been rubbish. I even had VIP sale, I couldn’t find much,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Stop it!! I do not need more clothes proper bargains there.”
Someone else added: “My next was virtually empty when I got there.”
