I’m a single mum on the hunt for a house husband – I know how to bring money in, I just need help with the dishes
A SINGLE mum has vowed to find a ‘house husband’ who does the dishes whilst she brings home the bacon.
Jessica Rampant, whose little girl is a year old, made the New Year’s resolution because she prefers being the breadwinner and running her own affairs.
The model, who used to work as a business manager, doesn’t care what people think about her and hopes she can find a man who feels the same way.
She says: “I am completely done people pleasing.
“This year is about me, my baby and flying my freak flag proud and getting paid handsomely for it.
“When you are authentic it gives other people subconsciously permission to be so too.
“So going into 2024, I will be further unburdened by shame. And people can kiss my phat ass.
“Any lucky bloke can do my admin whilst I pull in the cash”
Jessica adds: “When you’ve been a director within a FTSE company you know how to run a business, even better, when that business is yourself.
“A New Year’s resolution is looking for a house husband.
“I know how to bring money in, I just need help with the dishes.
“I refuse to be ‘Superwoman’. It’s unattainable and leads to burnout.
“Why can’t the man do the laundry whilst I’m making real dough?
“That’s why 1940s housewives never worked – as the man brought in the money.
“As soon as you are a solo parent, all bets are off.
“And whether you are doing delivery driving, TikTok shops or Onlyfans, getting that food on the table – sprinkled with a few luxuries – is essential.”
