Betis signs U.S. international Cardoso

MADRID, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- La Liga side Real Betis has confirmed the signing of U.S. international midfielder Johnny Cardoso on a five-and-a-half-year contract.

Cardoso, who was born in the United States, but has Brazilian parents, has cost Betis around six million euros from Internacional after making 117 league appearances for the club.
