Blackpool Tower fire updates — Tourists evacuated after top of attraction goes up in flames

TOURISTS have been evacuated after the top of the Blackpool Tower went up in flames.

Fire crews rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames, which could be seen on Thursday afternoon.

A specialist climbing team are also on the scene to assist, and visitors are being told to “stay away” at this time.
