I have the finest hair ever but the serum I found is amazing – my strands are as thick as my thighs these days
A HAIRSTYLIST has revealed how she was able to transform her fine tresses using a serum that dramatically boosts volume.
She admitted to having previously been skeptical of beauty products that promise to make fine hair strands thicker.
Nicole Pomme (@nicolepommehair) has almost 11,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares advice for treating different hair types.
She took to the social media platform raving about an effective product for improving hair fullness.
She said there isn’t a magic product that instantly makes fine strands thicker, but revealed a serum that has worked wonders for her over time.
“I have the finest hair ever,” Nicole said. “I’ve also got a lot of clients with super fine hair.
“This product is an Izumi tonic. It’s a thickening and strengthening serum.
“At first I was like ‘hmm I don’t know,’ whenever anything says thickening I’m very skeptical because I know like the strands of my hair are fine.
“The fineness isn’t going to get thicker but what happens oftentimes in fine hair especially, well in all hair, but in fine hair it’s more noticeable.
“You’ll get little breaks everywhere.
“You’re gonna have breakage so then your ends are gonna look thinner and more sparse.
“And our fine hair is so weak that’s why you need to use extension serum on your scalp, but that’s like another story.”
Nicole held up a bottle of Shu Uemura Izumi Tonic strengthening and thickening rice water hair serum which cost $69 from Sephora.
It has been highly rated by online shoppers who claim they’ve seen a noticeable improvement when used consistently on their hair.
“Do not sleep on this product,” Nicole said. “This is rice oil water strengthening serum.
“You put it on your dry hair.
“This stuff is amazing because the rice water strengthens and nourishes it, literally stopping any breakage from happening.
“The other ingredients help to plump up your hair to make it appear thicker.
“You have more density and less sparseness because there’s less breakage. It’s amazing.”
She continued to gush about how impressive the serum had been in the caption of her post.
“As thick as my thighs these days,” she wrote.
The video racked up over 253,000 views and thousands of likes from people who were grateful for the product recommendation.
Many people took to the comment section admitting they were eager to try the serum and asking for more haircare tips.
