Sensex drops 200 points as global markets tumble; Nifty nears 21,600

From the Sensex stocks, Tata Steel, Wipro, Infosys, JSW Steel, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra were the top laggards, falling 1-2%. On the flip side, Reliance, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, Nestle, and M&M opened with gains.
