Bargain hunters scramble to Asda as the chain slashes the prices of chocolate – there’s Aero and Terry’s from just 50p
SAVVY shoppers are racing to get to their nearest Asda, eager to nab chocolate that’s been massively reduced.
So if you’ve got a sweet tooth and are on a budget, you’ve come to the right place.
Whether you’re a lover or Cadbury or Nestle, or you’re partial to Turkish delight, Asda have it all.
One bargain hunter was left open-mouthed when shopping in her local Asda when she noticed that a huge range of sweet treats had been cut-price.
Thrilled with her finds, Hazel Clark made sure to stock up on the sale items.
Not only this, but she was eager to alert other shoppers to the cheap finds.
Posting on social media, on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.4 million members, Hazel posted a picture of her haul and said: “Just got all these reduced in my local Asda.”
Hazel then confirmed that she nabbed five boxes of rose and lemon flavoured Turkish delight, which was reduced to just £1 a box.
She also bought six large bars of festive orange Aero, for just 60p each.
If that wasn’t enough, the chocolate orange lover also got a pile of Terry’s chocolate orange snowballs bars, for just 50p each.
But that’s not all, as she also stocked up on Belgian milk chocolate caramel crunch slabs, which were slashed to just 75p.
To finish off her haul, Hazel also got her hands on reduced Christmas chocolate – the Cadbury tree decorations, which were reduced to only 45p a bag.
Hazel’s post has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 137 likes.
Social media users were stunned at Hazel’s huge haul and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Great haul.”
Another added: “Well done.”
A third commented: “Dammm, I was searching my local Asda for the Turkish delight as well.”
However, at the same time, one disappointed shopper claimed: “The Norwich one has nothing.”
Whilst someone else chimed in: “Don’t run or walk to Peterborough stores they have nothing. Not a bargain to be had.”
