‘The point is to only have one’ woman slammed after showing off her ‘£2.1k’ collection of Stanley Cups & tumblers
A WOMAN has found herself brutally slammed after proudly sharing her massive collection of tumblers and Stanley Cups.
The humongous collection, which some reckon is worth at least an eye-watering £2.1k, is so big, it almost covers Carolina Kyung’s entire wall – and people are anything but impressed.
According to Carolina, believed to be from the USA, the mind-boggling monster pile ”doesn’t even include” her non-Stanley, Starbucks tumblers, as well as other designs of the viral Stanley Cups.
The vast collection, which is sitting on three plastic shelves by the wall, has been arranged in a colour scheme, ranging from the lighter colours and pastels to darker shades and even brighter neon hues.
Although the woman appeared to be all chuffed with the seemingly never-ending stockpile, she did admit she had ”way too many tumblers”.
”I need to downsize,” she chuckled in the clip, which has taken the internet by storm for all the wrong reasons.
Some of the tumblers that might end up in the bin or donated, she revealed, might be the bejewelled Starbucks plastic cups, which retail for as much as £55 on Amazon.
”I’m thinking about selling this mermaid set, but I’m not sure,” she said, sharing a close-up of the stunning cups.
Meanwhile, some of her favourites, Carolina revealed, included a chic black matt studded tumbler, as well as a glow-in-the-dark cup, which came out in 2022.
Amongst the other Starbucks cups she was considering of letting go were ”fugly” tumblers that came in an ombré design, with pinks and greens.
But whilst she may have not thought much about the humongous collection of quenchers, social media users were all of a different opinion, finding her obsession excessive.
Thousands raced to comments to slam her for falling into the arms of ”consumerism” and pointed out just how harmful it was for the environment and ever-growing plastic crisis.
”The point was to have only one because it’s reusable,” an angry TikTok fan pointed out,
Another agreed, chiming in: ”I’m sorry, I can never justify spending this much money on cups.”
A third penned: ”That’s a good $2750 [£2.1k] on your wall.”
”Ma’am we are amidst a financial crisis,” someone else wrote.
”You literally only need one,” a fellow social media user commented.
However, after being slammed online, Carolina also hit back at the trolls, claiming the monster collection has, in fact, helped her health journey.
The woman, who said she used all of the tumblers ”every day”, said: ”Ever since I started collecting Stanleys I drink a whole lot more water.”
”Yeah we’re all also going to die one day. I like my cups.”
