The Quality Council of India (QCI) and the Khadi Village & Industries Commission (KVIC) have signed an MoU to introduce made-in-India khadi merchandise, improve product quality, and empower artisans. The collaboration aims to boost the khadi industry, which has grown 268% between 2013-14 and 2022-23, and create 9.54 lakh jobs in FY23.
