Kim Kardashian to shut down business after more than a decade as she plans ‘to focus that energy into other passions’
KIM Kardashian has chosen to shut down her mobile game after releasing it nearly a decade ago.
The Kardashians star originally launched her roleplaying game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, with Glu Mobile in 2014.
The game has been wiped from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with a notice informing current users that it will no longer be accepting in-app purchases.
Users with the app already downloaded will be able to use the game’s features until it is shut down on April 8.
Kim, 43, told TMZ: “I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has loved and played Kim Kardashian Hollywood in the past 10 years.
“This journey has meant so much to me but I’ve realized that it’s time to focus that energy into other passions.
“I want to thank the Glu team and the many people behind the scenes who have worked diligently on making it a success. I will be forever inspired by this community that we built together,” she finished.
Along with starring in her family’s Hulu series, Kim also owns her line of shapewear, Skims, as well as her skincare brand, Skkn.
She has also crossed over from reality TV to acting, recently starring in American Horror Story: Delicate alongside Emma Roberts, 32.
