I was born on a different day, month and YEAR to my twin brother – people get so confused when I tell them
A MAN has left people confused after revealing he and his twin brother were born in different years.
Alex, aka musician Apollo Clone, had initially shared a video in which he referenced his and his sibling’s different birthdays.
But after sparking a huge amount of confusion with the revelation, he returned to TikTok to share another video further explaining the unusual situation.
“So I recently shared a video about how me and my twin brother are born on different days,” Alex began.
“Actually we’re born in different years, is what I mean, and a lot of people didn’t get this.
“I thought it was pretty simple but I’m subjective to my own up bringing!
“I was born at 11.59pm on December 31st in a year, whatever year I was born in.
“My twin brother was born at 12.01am on January 1st.”
He wrote over the top of the video: “I was born first, he was born a couple of minutes later, as the clock went from 11.59pm to 12am, from December to January, and from ONE YEAR to the next.
“Only thing crazier would have been if it was 1999 and 2000 (different millenniums).”
“I didn’t think it was confusing but a lot of people did?” Alex wrote in the video caption.
And people quickly took to the comments section to weigh in on Alex’s tale, with one writing: “Wait so you celebrate your b-day on 31st and he on 1st?”
“Yeah that’s my life!” Alex replied.
“I have a twin and it is 20 seconds between us but the doctor wrote 1 min instead and I’m the youngest,” another commented.
“The doctor did you bogus,” Alex joked.
While someone else said: “Twins just mean that they are in the same person at same time if you know what I mean.
“You could be like a whole 48 hours after one another!”
To which Alex said: “Precisely!”
“My twin was 45 minutes before me,” another revealed.
“Two different days, two different hours, two different months, two different years,” someone else said.
“I can’t believe you have to explain this some people!” another marvelled.
As someone else mused: “How can ppl don’t grasp this?”
